The channel partner program

What the CICDoo channel partner program is, who it suits, how the relationship works, and how to apply. This is for reselling CICDoo to your own clients, not for buying platform access for yourself.

What it is

The channel partner program is for people who would sell CICDoo on to their own clients: agencies, consultancies, hosting providers, ISVs, anyone with Odoo clients to serve.

The shape of it is one relationship rather than a product tier. You own the client, and can be vendor of record if you want to be. We run the platform behind you, and our engineers back the deployments. You keep the billing relationship and the margin.

This is a different arrangement from buying platform access for your own projects. If you just want to run your own Odoo on CICDoo, see Plans and pricing instead.

Why there is only one tier

There used to be three, splitting the program into referral, reseller and managed. They described the same relationship three times over, so they were collapsed into one.

Instead, we agree per partner where the line sits between what you run and what we run, and price it around that. A partner who wants to own everything but the platform and a partner who wants us to handle incidents are on the same program, with different terms.

What a partner gets

  • Recurring revenue with no per-project ceiling. Your revenue grows with each client and as each client grows.
  • White-label workspaces. Your logo, brand colour and URL slug on the portal, so clients see your brand.
  • A workspace per client, with granular permissions over who sees what.
  • Engineering support behind every deployment, and a direct line to our engineers for the hard tickets while you keep the client relationship.
  • A partner dashboard listing your clients, their subscriptions, your onboarding requests, and your statements and payouts.
  • Co-marketing and joint deals.

How commission works

It is agreed with you, not set by a rate card. We look at the volume of work you bring and the responsibilities you take on, then write the terms into your agreement. Your dashboard shows those agreed terms back to you at any time, along with what has been earned and what has been paid.

There is no cap on what you can earn, and no self-serve referral code or link: clients are attached to your partner account by us.

Applying

Apply at cicdoo.com/partners. The form asks who you are, your region, what kind of business you run and roughly how many Odoo clients you have today.

A real person reviews every application, usually within one business day. Applying is free, and commercial terms are agreed together during onboarding once your application is approved.

After you are approved

We set up your partner account, your branded workspaces and your pricing, and your dashboard opens at /partner in the app.

From there you submit clients for onboarding: how many projects they need, your margin, whether they own their workspace or you do, and how they should be billed. Nothing is created and nobody is charged until we approve the request. Once approved, the client account is set up and billing starts on the agreed terms.

You can reprice your own margins on a client from the dashboard, and resend a client's payment link. Anything that grants a client access at our expense, such as extending a deadline or waiving a project, stays with us.

Next steps
