Terms of Service
The short version: you own your servers, your code and your data. We provide the platform and the engineers. The long version is below.
Last updated: July 21, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and CICDoo ("we", "us") and govern your use of the CICDoo platform at cicdoo.com and app.cicdoo.com, and any managed or consulting services we provide. By creating an account or using the service you accept these Terms. If you use CICDoo on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
2. The service
CICDoo lets you deploy and manage Odoo instances on servers you control, driven by your Git repositories. This includes deployments, staging environments, backups, monitoring, alerting, team workspaces and related tooling. We may also provide managed operations and day-based consulting when agreed separately. We continuously improve the service, and specific features may change over time.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your password safe and consider enabling two-factor authentication. Workspace owners are responsible for the members they invite and the permissions they grant. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter this agreement.
4. Your infrastructure
CICDoo operates on servers you connect. You confirm you are authorized to grant us SSH access to those servers, and you remain responsible for the servers themselves, including paying your hosting provider, their terms, and the legality of what you run on them. We use the access you grant only to operate the service: deploying, monitoring, backing up and maintaining your instances, plus any work you explicitly ask us to do.
5. Your data
Your code, your databases, your filestore and your backups are yours. They live on your infrastructure. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service on them, nothing more. You can download your backups and leave at any time. On termination we remove the credentials and access you granted us.
6. Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. Prices and limits are quoted to you and shown in your account before purchase. You can cancel from the Stripe customer portal; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period, and payments already made are not refunded except where the law requires. If a payment fails we may downgrade or suspend paid features after notice. Server and hosting costs from your provider are separate and always yours. Managed services and consulting are quoted and agreed separately.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use CICDoo to break the law, infringe rights, distribute malware, send spam, mine cryptocurrency on infrastructure you do not own, or attack, probe or disrupt the service or anyone else's systems. Do not resell access to the platform itself except through the workspace features designed for that. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other users at risk, and we will tell you when we do.
8. Odoo and third parties
Odoo is a trademark of Odoo S.A. CICDoo is an independent platform and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Odoo S.A. You are responsible for complying with the license of the Odoo edition you deploy, including holding a valid Odoo Enterprise subscription where required. The service integrates with third parties you choose to connect, such as GitHub, GitLab and your hosting provider, and their terms apply to those services.
9. Availability and support
We work hard to keep the platform available and your instances healthy, but the service is provided "as is" without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, except where a separate written SLA says otherwise. Support levels depend on your plan or managed agreement. Test your backups; we give you the tools to do it.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or loss of data caused by factors outside our reasonable control, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Termination
You can stop using CICDoo and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend accounts that materially breach these Terms. Because your data lives on your servers, it stays with you either way.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. If a change is material we will announce it on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Contact
